Privacy notice

This notice explains how Go Maintenance uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us. We follow UK data protection law: the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Go Maintenance Limited (company number 06362804) is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking. It has no forms, and it does not load anything from other companies’ websites.

Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server records, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and when you visit. These records are used only to keep the website secure and working.

When you contact us

When you phone or email us, or send us one of our customer forms, we keep what you tell us. This is usually your name, your contact details, the address of the property and what you need doing. If you open a customer account, it also includes the details on the account form.

We use this information to answer you, give you a quote, carry out the work and invoice for it. We do this to take the steps you ask for before a contract, to carry out our contract with you, and because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to people who contact us. We also keep records the law requires, such as for tax.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing. We share it only with companies that run our phone, email and IT services for us, with the people who carry out your work where they need it, or where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct it
  • ask us to delete it
  • object to how we use it, or ask us to limit how we use it

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
